Write the song on this Mac

Yue2 is a free Mac app. On your own Apple silicon Mac, it uses a local YuE2 model to write a song from lyrics and a style.

Where it runs

The song, the score, and the audio are made on this Mac. It needs Apple silicon, about 16 GB of memory, and macOS 26. Lyrics, the ABC score, and the song stay in the library on this Mac. They are not uploaded to a Yue2 server.

Free, and tips do not unlock features

Yue2 is free to use. You can leave a tip inside the app to support the community. Apple processes the payment. A tip does not unlock any feature, and it does not change writing, preview, or export.

A person who writes a song with this app may use that song, including commercially. Credit to YuE2 is welcome when you want to give it. The model weights are not sold with the app. A company that wants to use the weights commercially needs a separate license.
